Bête Noire is a hi-fi gastro-restaurant-cocktail-bar. Settled in a former wine warehouse in the heart of Ensenada, Bête Noire is a place that never sleeps. There’s always something going on: DJ sets, bands playing live, open-air cinema…  If you go there for an afterwork, don’t be surprised to find yourself at the bar drinking Martinis and having Street food for dinner 4 hours later ;)

After managing a fine dining restaurant in Valle de Guadalupe (Corazon de Tierra), our partner chef Diego Hernandez got bored of the “Michelin” atmosphere of the space and decided to partner-up with us to create something more lively. That’s how Bête Noire was born: a place where you can just go and have a good time, listen to live music, eat great food and drink funky cocktails. 

The whole place is organized around a 15-meter bar gathering a DJ set, the kitchen and a cocktail bar.

Bête Noire is the perfect mix between high quality products and services and a relaxing spot where people don’t take themselves too seriously.

Keeping it simple with drinks and food

Not forgetting his gastronomy expertise, Diego Hernandez imagined the menu with high quality products and delicate tastes. You’ll be able to eat lamb meatball pita, raw shrimps and fresh spider crab salads in a casual atmosphere.
According to Bête Noire’s spirit, we designed the bar and the cocktail menu, bringing a touch of craziness to classic Italian-style Cocktails. Yes, you might find mushrooms in your Negroni …
